Sallow Building
In the garden of the Makovecz headquarters in Kecske street there was a wooden covered trellis.
The trellis was attacked by wood rot in the middle of the 2000s, and it collapsed. Makovecz’s balcony stretched above the garden, and thus he had to see the ruins every day. In its place he planned a sallow building, which was finished in 2007. The builders were mostly travellers, joined by home and outsider helpers.
Even during the building one could guess that in the ground mostly made up of building debris the sally would not sprout, and thus it became the framework of a vine trellis and eventually seven years later it also deteriorated. But until then it was a nice and shady place.
